Torah’s Universal Ethics 101 Expounded by Prof. Yeshurun Nyongesa – Offered by the Noahide Academy of Israel in partnership with the University of The Gambia - What is it? Torah’s Universal Ethics 101 is a 13-week online course that explores the foundational ethical principles revealed in the Torah for all humanity—known as the Seven Universal Laws. These timeless moral values address the human soul, rational thinking, social justice, political responsibility, and ecological balance. Rooted in both Divine Revelation and universal reason, the course offers an intellectually rigorous and spiritually inspiring path to understanding the ethical framework meant for all nations. - Who is it for? This course is designed for university students and young professionals in the fields of law, philosophy, political science, religious studies, education, and ethics—as well as anyone seeking a clear and compelling system of universal moral values based on the Torah. No prior background in Jewish studies is required, making it accessible to students from all religious or cultural backgrounds. - Why is it important? In a world facing moral confusion, social conflict, and ecological crisis, there is an urgent need for a universal ethical foundation. This course shows how the Torah’s teachings, originally given to Noah and later reaffirmed at Sinai, provide a just, balanced, and inclusive framework for personal development and societal peace.
