Meat

I have discovered that some slaughtering houses in the US begin to cut the animals too quickly after killing them, when they are not dead (their heart is still beating even if they are not conscious). That is why I want to buy only kosher certified meat to be sure I am not eating meat taken from a living animal.

It is so horrifying, at least in the US. I don't know about the other countries.

May I ask what region you are from and what specific companies are being lackadaisical about ensuring the animals are actually dead? I can’t afford kosher. The only option I have is going vegetarian again. :(
