Tehillim - Psalms 71:6
"I depended on You from the moment I left my mother's stomach; You took me out from my mothers's womb, and therefore my praise is always about You".
The verse reminds me of Tehillim 139:13
"It was You who created my kidneys;
You fashioned me in my mother’s womb."
We all know how wonderful it is when a child grows in the mother's womb. How from seemingly nothing a whole human child can come into being in a way and manner that is in accordance with His will.
Kidneys stands for consience, Rashi on vers 13: "which think all my thoughts".
Our conscience is a special part of the human being. It is where our thoughts come from.
Just as one person's body looks different from another person's, the same is true of the consciousness that people have and the way they think.
These differences are not bad, but it is important to be aware of them. If you have a cheerful and positive character, it is sometimes difficult to imagine why others see everything so black and negative.
Just as with the body, some people develop muscles more easily when exercising than others, the same applies to training our minds. But just as you can always train your muscles, you can also train your thoughts.
We depend on G-d He is the Greatest Consciousness. A Consciousness that feeds the whole world and reaches out to us with boundless love.
He gives us birth in this physical world. Through time, in this physical world, we must learn to spend our lives with Him and must learn to contemplate His Wisdom and Beauty. We must learn to share with Him the deepest concerns of our hearts. Learn to be in awe of Him and let our love for Him grow.
When you bring Him into your life by contemplating His wisdom and the beauty of His works, sharing the deepest concerns of your heart with Him, reaching back to Him in love and awe, your mind connects with His. Your consciousness with the Infinite Consciousness.
This will influence your thinking, it will become more positive and joyful with time.
When your life becomes more and more positive, and you manage to find His light in the deepest darkness, then you can always praise Him.
