  • The Key to Seeing Miracles.

There are two types of miracles in our lives: revealed miracles, and miracles that are dressed up in the garments of nature. A revealed miracle is an open miracle. It is a suspension of nature in which the seemingly impossible happened. They are infrequent and obvious. A concealed miracle plays itself out through natural means. While a concealed miracle occurs, everything in life seems conventional. You won’t notice it until after it happens. And even then, you need to connect the dots to see the emerging pattern of the miracle. Concealed miracles, which manifest through the occurrences of our daily lives, happen far more frequently than revealed miracles. If you want to see miracles in your life, look for concealed miracles. Humility Is The Key to Seeing Miracles. How can you see what you cannot see? Humility. If you want to see miracles, you cannot think you have it all figured out. You have to acknowledge that there is a power greater than yourself, as well as a realm of activity in the spiritual world that you are not aware of and are not in control of. You have to acknowledge that there is a story behind the story of your ostensible life; that the script of your life is unfolding all the time, and that you are co-creating it with a power greater than yourself. Too much ego leaves no room for the unknown and unexpected. In order to be open to seeing how divine providence works in your life, you have to leave a few lines open for your higher power to fill in. You have to know that there are things you do not know. The greatest things can happen when you get out of your own way. Another Key to Seeing Miracles Is Awareness. When we are aware that there is something unfolding that we do not see, we start seeing concealed miracles emerge. As we recognize the extraordinary in the ordinary, we start seeing the larger picture. In all situations in daily life, we look for something to learn. We look for messages from above. We welcome the variables that we didn’t count on. Our answers are there but we mostly miss them because we’re busy with our own ideas and plans. We must pursue awareness of the possibilities that are being sent our way, lest we miss them. Brought by Sarah Perets

  • The Enigma of the Lost Ark of the Covenant

The holy Ark of the Covenant. An enigma? A myth? A legend of a priceless underground treasure? Let's find out! When people think about Mount Zion in Jerusalem, they don't normally connect it to the biblical Ark of the Covenant. The truth is that the Ark was situated there with King David (in what was later known as the "new" City of David) for over 40 years! The disappearance of the legendary Ark over 2700 years ago is an enigma that has given rise to much speculation by biblical archaeologists and explorers. There are many contradictory theories as to what really happened to this sacred artifact, and where it might be today. As such, I wrote a book (“The ARK Report”) based on 25 years of research on the Jewish perspective, where I quote primary sources from the Bible and the Talmud, with Midrashic and Haggadic references throughout. What I found is something quite compelling. I found that the Ark was not “lost” as many assume. In fact, it has been situated in the same place for all this time. Reminiscent of that great Disney movie with Nicholas Cage, National Treasure, this particular priceless Jewish artifact is about 4 stories (15m) underneath the present-day surface of the Temple Mount, in fact, to the southwest of the Dome of the Rock (as per my theory). Any biblical archaeologist worth his/her salt will tell you that there are over 45 known tunnels underneath the Temple Mount, with several entrances that may lead to this subterranean area. But before we go there, perhaps a brief history on the subject is in order first? The fact is, approximately 35 years before the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BC, King Josiah ordered that the Ark be brought into a special (what I call) “off-site” chamber that King Solomon had built as part of the original plan for the Temple, as found in a special Temple scroll that was given to him by his father King David, and the prophets Samuel and Nathan (II Chronicles 35:3). After happening upon an ancient Torah scroll of his ancestors, the righteous King Josiah foresaw that the Temple would be destroyed, and ordered the Ark’s placement into this secret chamber well before Jerusalem was even being threatened. Nobody knew that the Holy of Holies would then be empty, except for the King himself, the High Priest at that time, and some other priests that helped place it into the chamber below. It’s interesting to note that while hidden in this place, the Ark unfortunately wasn’t able to help the Jews win the war that eventually destroyed Jerusalem at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar many years later. I mean, let’s face it, the Ark of God had (and still has) a reputation as an indestructible war machine, having proven itself downing the great walls of Jericho, splitting the mighty Jordan River (or at least it was “mighty” back then), inflicting stomach diseases and plagues on the Philistines, etc. The Rambam (Maimonides) quotes the Talmud in a number of places that state that the Ark was buried “in its place” and for “generations after generations,” and “to this very day” (I Kings 8:8) in the warren of tunnels beneath the Temple Mount. In fact, according to my theory, directly beneath the Holy of Holies. According to my findings, the site of the Temple was not where the Dome of the Rock currently stands today, but further to the southwest, i.e., closer to the Western Wall, as indicated previously above. Now, about those subterranean tunnel entrances. Even if one would theoretically obtain all the permits from the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Jordanian WAQF, as well as the halachic permission from the Chief Rabbis of our day, it is simply too dangerous from a spiritual, as well as physical perspective to enter into these tunnels (which I delineate in my book). Further, the Ark seems to have this profound ability to sense who is around it, and if they have permission (as it were) to be there. And if not, the consequences have been proven to be lethal! Why take the risk? After all, even Moses wouldn’t enter the Tabernacle (that he himself built) to speak with God without permission. One thing’s for-sure though: No matter who is eventually chosen to go in after it (the High Priest perhaps, or Elijah the Prophet?), we are the closest ever at this moment, to knowing the Ark’s true location. Just as it sat in a provincial tent for the King to pray (approximately located where King David's Tomb is today on Mount Zion), so it will draw all people, Jew and Gentile alike to the Divine Presence. As we get closer and closer each day, the deep connection between God and Israel also gets closer and closer, bringing the whole world to its fruition. And that is no enigma... • How to Renew Yourself

Study Your Soul The first step is to learn about your soul — get to know your inner self through studying its dynamics and makeup. Just as your body is made up of many parts and systems, and the better you know how they function and their needs, the more you will know how to take care and nourish them; the same is true with your soul. Studying spirituality — the inner workings of your psyche — will both empower you and provide you with foundational roots. These deep roots will anchor you as you face the raging “flood waters” of life — all the demands and expectations that inundate us. When you study your soul, you discover who you really are. In turn, that will help you to live your life inside-out rather than outside-in: Instead of outside forces driving your life, and what you do defines who you are, who you are within should define what you do. Find classes and spiritual resources that teach you about yourself — why you are here and what kind of tools and resources you have inside yourself. It will reawaken and strengthen your inner core, and give you access to your unique skills and talents. Brought by Sarah Perets

  • How to Make Your Actions Matter

... By Believe in Yourself... “Impossible. Absolutely impossible.” How often do we hear these discouraging words, pouring cold water on our freshly hatched ideas? Don’t you think that the first inventors of the airplane or any other technology were told by their peers that their dreams were an impossibility? Yet, they persisted and finally prevailed. History is witness to countless stories of humans achieving the impossible. And how else do we explain the seemingly irrational — or more accurately: supra-rational — drive that we can overcome any challenge. How, for instance, are doctors utterly convinced that they can ultimately conquer every illness?! It is because we have an instinct that all is possible. This instinct stems from the power of the soul — the inherent faith and trust we carry in our soul — that transcends mortality and all the limits and shortcomings of human existence. It is critical that we believe in ourselves to be able to achieve anything in this world. That we can touch the infinite and the eternal. But we must also know that our psyches are under a constant assault of many forces reminding us time and again about our limitations, feeding our insecurities and fears. You have the power to be Divine, and with ease! You only need to believe that it is possible. Brought by Sarah Perets

  • Understanding Facebook & Connecting with Soullbook

So this is what we will explore and uncover together in order to re-balance our soul-interiority, our face and your interface with reality here on Soullbook. When G-d created the world in the beginning, He created it in a state of perfect balance when the human experience was complete. The level of revelation of Godliness in the world at that moment is called in Hebrew Atik Yomin – "The Ancient of Days" - The One Who Write the Eternal Story of Man. As it is written further in the Torah: "Ze Sefer Toldot Adam" : And this is the Book of the Story of Mankind. But not only mankind in general but of everyone precisely. But lets understand further. Atik Yomin is also translated as Ataka Atsmit : or Self-Replication which means that the “Face of G-d” was fully replicated in the face of the human being, or in other words the 7 powers with which G-d creates constantly the world with: Kindness, Might, Truth, Perseverance, Humility, Bonding and Nobleness etc… were fully expressed in the emotions on the face of every person. So this is the secret of the ultimate balance within the human experience: To Be One with G-d. • Finding Oneness In Diversity

One of the great challenges and ostensible paradoxes is reconciling between the individual and the collective, between personal interests and the common good. Can we find a way to preserve our diversity while being united without either being compromised? The way to achieve this balance is through humility: When you sublimate yourself to a higher calling, your individuality unites, instead of separates, you with others serving the greater cause. Your powerful commitment permeates your being to the point that it tempers self-interest, not allowing it to rip you apart from others. On the contrary, it helps build a unified community – diverse but united by a cause greater than, and one that transcends, individual interests. Yet, it takes effort on your part as an individual to find this harmony in diversity. Here is why the effort is worth it. Beauty In Diversity As pretty as one color – say, blue – may be, it still would not be defined as beautiful. As sweet as one musical note may sound, it cannot be called beautiful. Beauty is always a combination of many colors – as in a painting – whose balance and coordination creates a beautiful mosaic. Many different musical notes, when played just the right way, generate a beautiful symphony. Take nature. The beauty of nature is in the fact that so many different systems work together with such astonishing synchronicity. Perhaps no better or closer example of this is our own selves. The healthy human body is a miraculous piece of architecture. So many different limbs and organs, numerous diverse systems and faculties. Let alone the multitude of cells, hormones, chemicals, and DNA. And all combined as one fascinating unit, working as one synchronized whole. Something that strikes us (even subjectively) as beautiful is balance and symmetry of several – or very many – different elements, all combined in just the right blend. Beauty: the harmony within diversity. Brought by Sarah Perets

  • Seeing the Whole Picture PT. 2

There is an ancient teaching that has no houses of worship, no priests, no conversion ceremony. No one needs to abandon his or her heritage to embrace it; only to return, to dig deep, back to the essential truths that are buried within every belief system known to humankind and to discard the outer layers that may have distorted its message. You may have heard of this teaching, preserved and transmitted over the millennia by the Jewish People —although it is older even than that ancient nation: That all religions sprouted from a single seed and share a single root. According to this tradition, Noah became this single root when G-d renewed the earth after the flood. Just as G‑d gave different fingers to the hand, so has He given different ways to men.” These ways were based on a set of laws that Noah had received from Adam, that G-d renewed and expanded in his time. It is a guide from beyond to show humankind how to create a sustainable world that would never again face destruction. And it is a teaching that brings many voices into harmony, for it is the essence of all of them, yet does not deny to any its own unique beauty. After all, once you have found truth in your own backyard, that doesn’t mean no one else is allowed a backyard. Rather, in each backyard is another glowing ember of the truth known to Noah. Each people has cultured and developed a certain wisdom, a certain beauty that others lack. So that’s what we are presenting here; A guide to finding the truths within the traditions we already have. For in those latent truths lie all that we need to breathe together as one harmonious humankind embracing one healthy Planet Earth That we all share! • Divine Laws

G‑d "created the world that it might be settled". (Isaiah 45:18) This implies a level of civilized conduct, which can be achieved only when every human being also observe their divine laws. Indeed, the perfection of the world that leads to the Messianic Era requires the understanding and implementation of the divine laws that G‑d through the Torah provided for all humanity. In Kabbala and Chassidut, the Seven Divine Laws are equivalent to the seven lower sefirot. The ten sefirot, through which G‑d made the world and man, are divided into three "intellectual" attributes: Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge (chochma, bina, and daat), and seven "emotional" ones: Kindness, Might, Beauty, Eternity, Glory, Foundation and Sovereignty (chesed, gevura, tiferet, netzach, hod, yesod and malchut). The three intellectual attributes are associated with the Jewish people who provide the legal and spiritual interpretations of the Seven Divine Laws to the descendants of Noah. Each law parallels one of the seven "emotional" sefirot. Sexual misconduct is the perversion of love, and is related to chesed. Sexual transgression disrupts G‑d's love for us and harms people in their love-capacity, while permitted sexual relations are cherished in Heaven, and facilitate divine influence throughout creation. Murder is the perversion of strength and power, and corresponds to gevura. Theft is the destruction of harmony in human relationships, and corresponds to tiferet, the harmonious blend of kindness and might which enables social balance. In a world where questions of business morality are at the top of the agenda, this commandment fosters ethical conduct in an area where it is sorely needed. Idolatry and Blasphemy correspond respectively to netzach and hod, which are often paired together as the two supports of faith. Idolatry is a violation of divine rulership, and blasphemy of divine love. Since G‑d's rulership and His love are inseparable, each in turn facilitating the other, so too these two commandments support and enhance each other. G‑d alone is to be worshipped, directly and without any conjoining or intermediary, and He alone desires and hears prayer out of His love for all mankind. War comes to the world through the delay of justice… Eating a limb from a living animal corresponds to the sefira of yesod, associated with the reproductive drive. The link between eating and sexuality is well-known. The eating of living meat fosters the purely rapacious aspect of both eating and sexual relations. It adds to the desire for purely exploitative sexual relations which resemble eating, since such food contains the actual "heat of life" which arouses selfish passions. Sexual rapaciousness and cruelty of all kinds are rectified by abstaining from living meat as defined by the Torah. This in turn inspires gentle and respectful practices, such as those directed towards maintaining the environment. A functioning judicial system corresponds to malchut, the lowest sefira, which rules in supremacy but is selflessly devoted to public service. This is the responsibility of good government. Our sages state, "War comes to the world through the delay of justice, the perversion of justice, and the teaching of Torah not in accordance with Jewish Law". (Avot 5:8) When both Jews and non-Jews can learn Torah without distortion of its halachic (Jewish legal) meaning, true peace becomes possible. This includes recognition of the principle that Jews can be judged only according to Torah law, no matter where in the world, and that non-Jews in Eretz Yisrael are considered according to the Seven Noahide Laws by the Jews there, with no sovereign jurisdiction of their own. • How Benjamin from Kenya Went from "pro'testant" to Become an Observant Noahide!

Shalom to all! My name is Benjamin Kariuki of Laikipia County in Kenya and here is my journey as I become an observant Noahide! I was born in a pro'testant family of Joseph Kariuki and Miriam muthoni in 1985. Brought up in Christian values and worship up to the year 1992 when my parents went to the messianic hebrew roots movement in Nyahururu Kenya. So I was rededicated in the new chur'ch and we used to practice Sabbath and other Jewish festivals. In the year 1994 my father was made a chur'ch deacon he loved Jewish heritage so he would read for us every Friday evening portions of bible. In the same year we received a Jewish couple who were tourist en-route Mt Kenya via Narumoru route Batya and Avi Patiel. They shared their Jewish stories and taught us Hebrew vowels. We kept contact and they would send more Jewish tourist on route to Mt Kenya. In the following year 1995 a tour guide from Israel Mr Freish Gilad brought many Jews among them was a Alexander Naki .Who on return to Israel send us a full passover Seder, Tenach (masoretic text)and a book how to become a Jew. At this time my father called the pastor head of the church in Kenya who were negative to contact with Hallaic Jews. So we stop all reading and study of any Jewish texts. In year 2006 my father after immense church pressure left the church due to theological ideological difference’.He went to Mr Gichuru his close friend who was studying Noahide and head of Noahide community in Nairobi then. There he made contact with Rabbi Dr Michael Shulman and he came home with a book the path of a righteous gentile . The next Saturday I left the church and started my path with internet together with Linus Gitahi my close Friend. We studied together and connected to my dad and rabbi Michael Shulman. All my brothers Yacov , Silas, Yogev and my sisters Naomi and Hadassah we are now practicing Noahide family under the Noahide Academy . By Benjamin Kariuki
