I am a Christian of the reformed persuasion with a deep appreciation of Judaism, of Hebrew, the TaNaKh and HaB’rit HaDashah. In truth, I am a disappointed Anglican: I find so little substance in the utterances of the Anglican clergy and their understanding of scripture, they are far too secular.

I prefer the wisdom of both Jewish notables and Reformist preachers to find solace and peace in this troubled world.

I have learned and can read Hebrew. I am also deepening my study of Tefillah. I have recently read the book by Eli Schlanger: Conversations with my Rabbi, which I heartily recommend ( it relates to the massacre on Bondi beach). It is that book which led me here in fact.

What is my ultimate and sole purpose in the reminder of my time here? To learn, to enjoy my journey in scripture, the word of HaShem and to continue my search for truth as it applies to my life and what i can do to better help members of my family and their community.
