All the rest is commentary...
At first, I found deep reflection on Hillel’s ‘What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. That is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary’ liberating, because it opened up who my ‘neighbor’ could be (specifically, no need to filter based on denomination). But it also brings a loneliness, because it doesn't create belonging. Is anyone else feeling a little isolated, and if so how do you manage it?

The classic answer is do not let your happiness depend on other people. But since we live amongst people, that’s very hard to do. So yes, there’s a feeling of loneliness when others don’t have a similar belief. But it’s nice to know that they will eventually. You don’t have to force your belief on anyone just do what you do and others will observe you and that will be enough.
