Christianity requires a certain Suspension of Disbelief in order to adhere to it. Which are the doctrines you struggled with as a Christian but always felt you had to sweep under the carpet so as to maintain your faith? Here are some of mine, in no particular order:
The ascension
The multiplication of the fishes and loaves
The central claim that Jesus was both "fully God yet fully Man"
I could never understand how any of those worked. Now I understand why I could not understand 🙂
