As a man needs to make a living, he needs to have a life, and ultimately enter unto eternal life. If a man makes a living in order to sustain his family and he does it out of kindness, as he understand that HaShem is the One who gives us all and what we do is only the vessel, then a man will earn his living with honor, use it for kindness and ultimately earn eternal life. The commandment is the Respect for Family Unity.
