What Did Jacob Do With Idols?

Updated: Sep 13, 2022

Divine Code for September 4, 2022

Today: Page 156

Topic 7:3 -- 7:5

Jacob me the people of Shechem nullified the idols before he buried them.

The nullification is a command given to Noahides. Burying is not an obligation but a Jewish obligation which a Noahide may apply. A Noahide - and a Jew, after nullifying the idol [ by a Noahide ] - or object used for worship - may preserve and benefit from it.

An idol itself is nullified by removing, for example, its ear.
