I lived in Jakarta back in 1995-1996. Unfortunately, I did not learn the language as I was a busy mom with a newborn of 6 weeks plus three others. We were a part of the US Embassy but I didn't stay long as we had to leave due to unrest. I remember the place quite well. May you be blessed abundantly for sharing this light in your community!
