May I Kill Someone to Save Myself?

Divine Code for December 7, 2022

Today: Page 334

Topic 3:1 -- 3:2

If someone is chasing an other person with the intent to kill the person, it is an obligation to save the one who is being chased and one may kill the pursuer if that is the only possible way.

Saving the persued victim is a branch of the Noahide prohibitions against murder. For this should be a civilized world. One is also permitted to save his own life from a persuer, if be killing him this is the only way to save his own life.
